Yoga & Reiki

A Healthy, Peaceful LIfe
There are many paths to peace and healing. Both Yoga and Reiki offer benefits on the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual levels.
I searched for a way to adjust to a changing society with greater ease. I stepped into a yoga studio, and onto my path in how to interact with life in a less frustrating and more positive way. After three years of studying yoga, I entered a teacher training program. The transformation that took place in my life encouraged me to share the journey with others. As I healed from the trials of living, I discovered Reiki. I have found the healing modality of Reiki different from that of Yoga Nidra, yet each one offers a way to improved health.
Yoga Asana
The physical postures used in yoga have many purposes and benefits. The poses are approachable for every practitioner.
Yoga Nidra
There’s a body of scientific evidence supporting Yoga Nidra as a practice that allows healing on all levels.
Reiki
Life events can create blockages in the body. Reiki encourages the flow of energy and the release of those blocks.
Meditation in Motion
For me, there is little separation between art and life, and yoga and life. I created this video by merging postures and inspirational thoughts. Because the poses and words flow through me, I can’t say which came first. My invitation is for you to view the video, and notice if anything moves within you.Experience in Transformation
I earned my CYT-500 because the difference yoga made in my life was so profound, I couldn’t keep it to myself. To further my education and my own practice, I completed training to be certified in Yoga Nidra. I have used both asana and Nidra with groups and individuals of various ages and physical abilities.
I came to Reiki looking for another healing modality. I am certified through a practicing Master Healer. I have used Reiki with animals, human clients, and on myself.

Bring Home Inspiration
Inspiration is all around us. One of my favorite places to be to receive it is out in nature. Though I take a lot of landscape and wildlife pictures, I came across the ones featured here from another photographer. The images sparked words in my imagination. Perhaps they’ll ignite something in you.
