Welcome!

My Joy Enterprises supports Equine Therapy.  This isn’t training for the horses, although our horses do need to pass rigorous tests before becoming a permanent member of the herd.  What we offer is an alternative therapy for children who have been labeled by the public school as Emotionally Disturbed, are involved in a rehabilitation program for substance abuse, or who may be on probation, where the horses are part of developing responsibility and self-care within the individual.  The highly intuitive nature of horses encourages the handler to be honest with themselves about their emotions and feelings if they are to encourage the horse to do what they ask.

There are many aspects of this program, and we are currently developing each one to better serve the children who will benefit from this work with the herd.  Please check back for an update on our progress.
